Ishmael Butler (Ish)
Ishmael Butler is the founding member of the hip-hop group Digable Planets. Drawing from the style of the urban beatnik and the music of jazz hipsters, Digable Planets defined and popularized jazz-rap. Digable Planets won the Grammy in 1994 for Best Rap Duo or Group for "Rebirth of Slick (Cool Like Dat)." The song was radio-friendly and a major hit that spawned MTV hype and mammoth sales. Ishmael has since turned his attention toward acting and recently starred in dream hampton’s I Am Ali which premiered at the 2002 Sundance Film Festival. He is currently recording his next album and performing with his new group Cherrywine.

Bonz Malone (Oz)
Bonz Malone is a writer, actor and hip-hop historian. Known to Vibe readers as a redoubtable arbiter of street authenticity, his "Tuph Street" column was one of the magazine’s most popular. Bonz has also written for numerous other publications including Spin magazine and The Source. In 1998, Bonz co-wrote and appeared as Hopha in the movie Slam (1998 Cannes Golden Camera and 1998 Sundance Grand Jury Prize winner). He went on to appear in numerous projects including Life, Whiteboys, Shaft, Showtime’s 3 A.M. and Brooklyn Babylon which he also co-wrote and produced. Bonz recently served as the writer for the 2002 release of Hip-Hop Immortals: Volume One (Immortal Brands) - a coffee-table book featuring photos of the 100 most influential artists in hip-hop.

Andre Royo (Junie)
Andre Royo may currently be seen in the role of Bubbles on HBO's new hit series, The Wire. His list of film and television credits includes John Singleton's Shaft, Chris Cherot's G and Michael Rymer's Perfume and guest appearances on Third Watch, Law and Order and Wonderland. He has also appeared in numerous national ad campaigns including spots for Volkswagen, Bass Ale, Keyspan Energy and IAM.COM. Andre starred in Mad Matthewz's Big Bank Take Little Bank as “Fruity Pebblez” - an aspiring rapper who gets his big break when the man he carjacks turns out to be a big time record producer.

Anita Kopacz (Veronica)
Anita Kopacz began her career as a Wilhelmina model in New York City. During her
modeling career, she decided to further her education, receiving a bachelor's degree in
Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of California at Berkeley, where she studied
Drama, Film and African-American Studies. Anita has appeared in numerous national
commercials, videos and print ads.

Michael C. Maronna (E-Man)
As a young actor Michael appeared in the films Home Alone and Home Alone 2 and was the star of the Nickolodeon series The Adventures of Pete and Pete. His recent credits include the films Slackers and 40 Days and 40 Nights. Michael also appeared as the character “Stuart” in Ameritrade’s popular television ad campaign.

Reg E. Cathey (Mr. Morgan)
Mr. Cathey’s impressive list of credits includes roles in HBO’s Boycott, Pootie Tang, Head of State and S.W.A.T. Mr. Cathey also appears in the films The Machinist and Everyday People, both of which premiered at the 2004 Sundance Film festival.
